L-3 Communications provides communication hardware for government and private aircraft worldwide - including Air Force One. L-3 has several facilities, including a maintenance and installation facility in Greenville, TX. The energy efficiency of a prior vendor was inferior to the Advanced Radiant solution. Once the advantages of our products were demonstrated on the first project, L-3 switched to Advanced Radiant Systems for all future projects.
SOLUTION
Advanced Radiant Systems delivered a higher efficiency IR solution than the prior vendor with equipment designed specifically for high bay applications. This was done with extreme time constraints, within narrow windows of time. In fact, Advanced Radiant was contacted at our Indianapolis headquarters regarding a hangar that would be vacant in one week for only a week. It would be the only opportunity to make the heating upgrade in the next year. Advanced Radiant flew to the sight, engineered, and quoted the project within three days. Terms were agreed to, the installation team was mobilized, and the system was installed within the available window. As a result of the first installation Advanced Radiant Systems was chosen for additional installations over the course of many years.
